Every decision, every choice, every move, step, traffic light, and broken down car have led you to where you are.
It's crazy to think about all the decisions and choices we make and the consequences they have on our life and others.
I like Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone" and Rascal Flatt's "Bless the Broken Road." Those are my two confessions.
And yes, I sing Kelly's song really loud in my Jeep and play dashboard drummer to it.

two good song confessions my friend! but they don't have to be confessions, i think those are two great songs. i definitely bust it to the kelly clarkson one as well. both those songs make me think of the road trip to ridgecrest, cause we listened to both and kim liked God Bless the Broken Road and jason woke up insulting it and we told him to go back to sleep. but i do love it when guys come out of the closet and admit to songs they like:)aint no shame...good therapy i think.
I also enjoy both of those songs. They make me think about all of the things I've been through and where I've been. My boyfriend often gets mad when we talk about our pasts because he can't change them. I tell him that there are things I regret but if I could go back and change them there's a chance I wouldn't be with him and I'm not willing to take that chance. I also don't think we would understand each other as we do if our pasts were changed.
As the wife of a drummer, I thank you for playing dashboard drummer. My husband is now past the "dashboard" part and likes to play drummer on my head, leg, arm, etc. Though I am captivated by my husbands drumming skills, the enthusiasm for drumming somehow lessons when the beats are being pounded into your skin.
WOW--ain't that the truth (about your blog of course) I mean--what if I had actually taken a job outside of the Clemson area? Would I have gone through this broken/restoration process? For such a time as this....
Two great songs....I've applied them to my own life....but I tell you what really does a number on my soul...knowing how much GOD longs for intimate relationship with us...he "calls us by name..." Isaiah 43 does me in!!!
