First of all, I have seen Narnia 2 times now.  I absolutely love the movie.  It will get you excited about the Kingdom.  The thought of a coming King who is majestic, mysterious, and about a zillion other adjectives.  A God who is not safe, tame, or comfortable always, but a God that is GOOD.  That will get you excited.  If not, you got the wrong wood on the fire.   Go see it.

I will reiterate what many people have said about the John Mayer Trio album.  You should definitely go buy it.  It's the type of music that makes your head move and you have to make funny faces when you listen to it.  There are a few songs on it that I would call...in blog safe terms...very "smooth."

I'm learning that God will actually really definitely assuredly supernaturally intervene in our lives when we need Him to.  Next part will be able to teach me to listen and be sensitive to hear.  TOUGH.

If you are reading this, you are probably one of my friends or some random person who googled something weird and found my blog, either way, I want to say that you mean a lot to me and I appreciate all of you.  Your friendships are VERY encouraging.

definitely...so true about the movie. "He is not tame, but He is good." wow. so simple, yet so powerful.

and ditto on the jm3 thoughts also...though i like to use the term "married people music" in place of your "smooth." either way...it's good stuff.

hope your week is awesome, justin.

I was talking with a friend of mine from college the other day..and he was talking about how he was convicted of how he calls people his friends, but to really be a friend...one must cultivate the friendship (pray, conversate, etc). It convicted me of how I call people my friends, but do I really care enough to invest in their lives...if not, that's not true friendship...that's an aquaintance....

God's working on me w/ that one....great post...

Can't wait to see Narnia this weekend. I promised my sis I'd wait till she was in town to go see it since we read all of the books as children. I know I'm going to want to read them again. I loved them as a kid and am excited about seeing it now!!

Thanks for the appreciation. I'm sure I'm not alone when by saying I appreciate your friendship too-- always have.

Sleeve and I are going to HOPEFULLY go sky diving in Charleston this spring...you gotta come with us! And yes, I know this comment has nothing to do with this post, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I have yet to see Narnia, but cannot wait to get to the theater to do so...and well, although I don't really know you too well, I appreciate you. Your thoughts are encouraging to read, and usually give me a good chuckle which is always nice. :-)
